Buy & Sell

Buy and Sell in QZAR lets you execute instant on-chain swaps directly from the platform using supported liquidity sources. A market swap uses the best available route at execution time, and the displayed quote is not guaranteed until the transaction is actually confirmed on-chain.

Open a trade

You can start by entering a pool address, token address, or token name into the platform search field. QZAR then returns matching markets and liquidity venues so you can open the swap screen for the relevant asset and route.

You can start from:

  • token address pasted into the platform
  • token name or symbol search result
  • pool address
  • asset in your portfolio
  • recently used token command

Before entering the amount, confirm the token mint (contract address) and pool so you trade the intended asset. Many tokens share the same name or ticker.

QZAR search results for a token, listing the matching markets and pools that open the swap screen

On the swap screen, QZAR displays token overview, market price, balance information, pool details, and transaction settings before execution. This allows you to review the full trading context and configure execution parameters in a single interface.

QZAR has direct execution for selected pool types and uses routed swaps for others. Venue discovery does not guarantee that a trade is available: swaps can be blocked by missing liquidity, pool migrations, token restrictions, or routes that cannot satisfy the configured amount and slippage.

Trade settings

The Buy and Sell screens share a common set of execution settings, with operation‑specific behavior applied where needed:

FieldWhat it controls
TransactionImmediate Swap or conditional Limit Order
From walletOne wallet, several wallets, or a wallet group
AmountFixed SOL/USD/token amount or percentage where supported
Source tokensOrdered funding preference for routed buys and the first configured settlement token for sells
Transaction modeStandard or MEV-protection submission
SlippageMaximum acceptable price deviation
Gas feeRecommended, Turbo, or Custom priority value/tip
Auto-sellOptional TP, SL, or combined exit rule
PresetA saved combination of reusable trade settings

Buy flow

  1. Enter a pool address, token address, or token name in the search field
  2. Choose the desired result from the list of supported markets and pools
  3. Review the token overview, market price, balances, and pool details on the swap screen
  4. Confirm the token mint (contract address) and pool to make sure you are trading the intended asset
  5. Select the wallet or wallets that will fund the purchase
  6. Set the trade amount manually, use a quick amount button, or apply a saved preset
  7. Review source to confirm which tokens (ex. SOL, USDC, and USDT) can fund the buy and in what order. Routed buys can try later candidates when the execution path supports fallback; direct pools can require the preferred source to match the pair
  8. Adjust transaction mode, slippage, and gas fee to match your execution preferences and risk tolerance
  9. Optionally attach an auto-sell rule for the position you are opening
  10. Confirm the Buy and wait for on-chain confirmation. The final fill may differ from the displayed quote within your configured slippage

Sell flow

The Sell flow is used when you want to reduce or fully close an existing token position. Sell uses the same swap framework and execution settings as Buy, but can have Sell‑specific behavior configured via presets:

  1. Open the swap screen for the desired asset from Assets or by search, then switch from Buy to Sell
  2. Select the wallet or wallets that hold the token you want to sell
  3. Enter a fixed amount, choose a percentage‑based size, use configured Sell presets, or select the dedicated Sell all Tokens (100%) action to exit the full position in the selected wallet range
  4. Review source and confirm that the first configured token is the intended settlement asset; the current Sell execution keeps that first preference instead of falling back through the full list
  5. Check transaction mode, slippage, gas fee, and any preset settings to make sure execution matches your intent
  6. Confirm the Sell and wait for on-chain confirmation, then verify that the token balance and destination token balances changed as expected
Sell all can still fail
"Sell all" is based on the position available when QZAR builds the transaction. Token taxes, transfer restrictions, pool changes, or another transaction can affect the final result or cause failure.

Routing and liquidity venues

QZAR has direct execution for selected pool types and uses routing for others. Venue discovery does not guarantee a route. A trade can be unavailable when liquidity is missing, a pool is migrating, the token is restricted, or the route cannot satisfy the amount and slippage limits.

Multi-wallet execution

When you select several wallets or a group, the configured amount applies to each selected wallet. Check the total exposure before confirming:

Total intended buy ≈ amount per wallet × selected wallets

Each wallet also needs its own native token for fee. Results may be different by wallet because transactions may be executed separately.

Auto-sell rule

An auto-sell rule can attach exit conditions to a new buy:

  • 250 → Take Profit at +250%
  • -40 → Stop Loss at −40%
  • 250-40 → TP +250% and SL −40%

Review the created order after the buy. An exit trigger does not guarantee the expected fill. Execution still depends on balance, route, liquidity, slippage, fees, and network state.

Best practices and verification

To keep execution predictable and safe:

  • Start with smaller sizes when trading newly discovered or low‑liquidity assets, even if quick trade buttons and presets are available
  • Before confirming a trade, review the selected wallet or wallets, source order, trade settings, and any attached auto-sell rules
  • Store frequently used combinations of amount and settings as presets to speed up repeated entries and exits while keeping your execution consistent
  • For positions that require predefined exit discipline, combine Buy with a saved auto-sell rule using Take Profit, Stop Loss, or both
